Mojito Madness

Make your friends green with envy with this hot to trot fun-loving, lime green color

TThis was supposed to be my finally week wearing blue nail polish for Paint It Blue nail group on Facebook, but it I was so tired of looking, applying and wearing blue nail polish his color is part of the 2012 Essie Summer Collection, I am totally in love with this color. It’s such a fantastic color for the summer . The application for this polish smooth and easy. Defiantly an 8.5/10

Did you know that there is an actual drink called Mojito Madness…. me either! This is fantastic!!!

Mojito Madness (Low Calorie)

6 oz – diet lemon lime soda
12 – mint leaves
1/4 – Lime, cut into slices
1 1/2 fl oz – Rum
5 to 8 – ice cubes
Optional: additional mint leaves and lime wedges (for garnish)

Directions

Muddle (aka pulverize) the mint and lime in a glass.
Add the soda and rum, stir well
Add ice and enjoy! Feel free to garnish with mint & lime.
Makes 1 serving.
Number of Servings: 1

FMM: Inside My Head

I like…relaxing

I don’t like…ignorance and hatred

I love…my family, they mean the world to me

I dream of…being healthy, happy and fulfilled

I wonder…how someone can be filled with hatred and what would motivate a person to commit horrific acts a violence (like what happened last Monday in Boston)

I know…that at the end of the day I have succeeded in being the BEST version of myself

I went…to visit my mom and stepdad yesterday… and naturally she feed me

I think…I was right when I answered this question when I initially write these questions in 2010, and I am so thankful for that.

I plan…on being a better person tomorrow than I am today

I regret…not telling people I love them when I had the chance

I do…things my own way and in my own time.

I drink…lots and lots of water

I wish…my headache would go away

I am…working on maintaining my friendships… which is something that has been difficult for me in the past

I am not…sure what the future holds for me, but for the first time in a LONG time I’m really excited

I need…finish my laundry

I hope…that one day I have children of my own

I want… a new wardrobe

I sometimes… feel discouraged about my weight loss journey, and I sometime compare it to others Sad smile

I always… talk to my cat … I say good morning, greet him when I come home, say goodbye when I leave…

I can… always count on my mother to be there for anything that I need.

I cannot…do a sit-up… I mean I have been told my my doctors to not do them… due to all the abdominal surgeries I’ve had

I avoid…people who cannot add to value to my life, I feel like at the age that I am it’s time to reduce the BS people in my life… # of BS people in my life currently = 0

I will…be in the gym at least five days this week!

Nail Polish Lottery Club–Week 15

THIS WEEK’S RANDOM NUMBER IS 21

Orly’s Rage

Oddly enough this polish was featured last week by April, so I ‘m not gonna go to deep into detail. But this is the very first time using an Orly nail polish, and I was not disappointed… consistency, color, and application were all on point… it get’s a solid 8.5/10 Totally in love with this Rose gold metallic gold polish.. And since everyone has seen and commented on this I decided to use it as an accent color for my nail art. Since this color was covered, there really is no reason to make a video… April did an excellent job!

I’m gonna be a little honest I ‘m getting a little tired of blue nail polish…and I have a lot of blue polishes, and if I see them one more time I’m gonna scream!!!! I will be doing double duty, as mentioned last week I am participating in Paint It Blue. I will be using various untried blue polishes . I feel like this color is similar to the blue that I wore last week, but this one has a bit more shimmer than the previous one. How is it that it’s the third week I’m doing this and I’m totally over it… Why does April have some many Tuesdays?? LOL

FMM: Twenty Questions

1. Share something that you enjoy doing when you’re alone. Dance and Sing

2. What do you plan to eat next? No clue, I’m having a hard time trying to get down breakfast (a daily struggle for me)

3. When did you first travel on a plane? Where did you go? I took a FunJet (are they still in business?) to California with the family

4. Do you currently have a crush on someone? If so, share a few of the reasons why. A crush on a normal, everyday person? No. Celebrity?…. Nope. But Athlete?? Oh yes… and let me just say, the Mesa Grand Prix was this past weekend so I was able to see him once again in all his shirtless glory… Why? I can’t explain it… I need to just show you real quick 5 reasons…

5. List one thing that disgusts you that probably wouldn’t bother someone else. Certain words, for example; panties, smegma, moist, pflegm, seepage… just writing these words gave me chills…ahhh!!

6. If you could buy a new car tomorrow (and money was no object) what would you buy? Chevy Tahoe Hybrid… money is no object, but I still would like to be environmentally responsible

7. Who was the first person who broke your heart? My father

8. If you could spend the night with a celebrity tonight, who would it be? See Question 4… and if he’s so inclined he’s more than welcome to wear his Speedo… or maybe jammer, I’m not picky

9. Are you a morning person or a night person? Neither… I’m more of an afternoon person

I’m not gonna lie, I was not a fan of this color… it’s Taupe and for me Taupe means boring and corpse like looking nails, this color does nothing for my skin complexion so thank goodness this week I will be doing double duty, as mentioned last week I am participating in Paint It Blue.
