Writing Prompt: Do you agree with Jane Fonda’s favorite exercise motto, “no pain, no gain?” Is it impossible to attain greatness without considerable hardship?

I absolutely think that you can attain greatness without hardship…. okay that’s a total lie. It simply doesn’t happen like that. There will always bee someone or something that will try to divert you from what you want to do…. the path to sucees is not a straight road… that’s to easy, it’s full of put stops and divots and detours….. all the things that make us stronger and more appreciative.

Some of the greatest names, including DaVinci, Columbus, Pasteur, and the Wright brothers—challenges and managed to overcome them. All of them had to deal with suffering, disappointment, and their own failings in order to find their passion and pursue it. Abraham Lincoln, whose early experience of poverty gave him an ambition to excel, and whose ambition led him into a first, failed bid for office—and who then discovered in himself the talents that would make him a great statesman.And all of them succeeded at fulfilling their dreams.
