So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff, some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…
I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.
You ever have one of those mornings where not matter what you decide to wake up it’s still way too early… today was just one of those days. I think subconsciously I knew /I had a ton of crap to do and just didn’t want to face the day. Since I was still smarting off from the fact that my cat woke me up (damn her and her hunger!!) and I wasn’t rally that hungry I just had a yogurt.
You ever have a craving that only bacon can cure? I know you do, because you’re my people… and for the record I’m not talking about turkey bacon (although I do it eat, but the enjoyment level is not the same) I generally don’t buy or eat bacon, but I saw it at the grocery store and it was calling my name out from the refrigerated shelf… plus it was maple… MAPLE BACON… I had to eat buy it. So I made a poor man’s BLT… which is just Bacon…
I grabbed a Flatout out a tiny dollop of mayo and ate that sucker like a taco…yummm!
Yesterday I made Taco Soup, and passed on the corn chips, but added a bit of cheese and soup cream… Taco Soup…. taste a lot like Chili… Recipe can be found here
I am finally getting over my sweet tooth, but I notice that late at night that I get the hankering…. so I am trying to eat all my snacks at night…
My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I was able to “earn” additional 469 calories from working out. . ! . Although I was “allowed” 1669 calories I did excellent today as I didn’t even reach 1200 calories!!
The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 10 cups of water.. YAY ME!!
