1. What is your favorite food dish? Macaroni and Cheese, honestly I don’t think there is a way that you can mess it up (well you could over cook the noodles) but any Mac and Cheese is good Mac and Cheese!

2. What is your favorite food type (Italian, Mexican, etc)? Mexican food

3. What is your favorite snack? Microwave popcorn

 

4. What do you usually eat for breakfast? This week I’ve been having this fantastic smoothie

5. Do you eat your veggies?  What are your favorites? I do, and usually by breakfast I have my 5 a day in. I really love spinach, and broccoli (but have to limit those due to being on a bood thinner) carrots have been my go-to veggies (raw not cooked) that are easily portable and I often have a bag with me when I’m going on. I’ve been eating a lot of okra lately as well.

 

6. What is your favorite junk food/guilty pleasure? Chinese food

7. Do you cook most/all of your own food? I do because not only is it saving me money, but I know exactly what I’m eating and so it’s easier for me to calculate my Weight Watchers points. I also pre-make my dinners at the beginning of the week so there is no guessing on what’s for dinner, on a really successful well, all of my meals are planned out.

8. Are you vegetarian or vegan?  If not, have you ever considered or tried it?  No

 

9. If you eat meat, do you eat red meat, and if you do, how do you like it cooked? I eat a lot of chicken, turkey and fish, I’ve never really been a big fan of beef. I’ll eat it any way except for deep fried (and man do I miss it)

10. Is there a food or a dish that you have always wanted to try and is there a reason you haven’t tried it yet? I have never really been a fan of seafood, and a month ago I tried crab for the first time, and shocking I really enjoyed it (I actually think it was around the time that I tried sushi for the first time as well, and I really liked that as well)

What I Ate Wednesday

So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons  and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff,  some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.

As always my Weight Watchers Points into the fold.

I heart breakfast of Greek yogurt and oatmeal and a mandarin orange (not pictured). Breakfast was 6 points

So for lunch I wanted to try something that I had never had before (actually I tried two new things.. and they both can out a win for me Sushi (Spicy California Rolls) and Roasted Seaweed YUMMY!. Lunch was 6 points

Time for some more protein…. this time in the form of two hard boiled eggs (with a little bit more pepper than I wanted).  And after dinner I had some cookies, but I didn’t take a picture of them (Damn you Girl Scout Cookies!!) Snacks were 10 points

Nothing fancy, just ate some left over chili, threw some cheese on it and added some chips..….. Dinner was 12 points

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I went over my goal (what else is new?)by consuming 1,393 calories And I ate all of my 34 Points .2

The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 8 cups, but with it being colder outside and me try to ramp of the workouts I should be getting more water in.. but I already feel like I’m constantly going to the bathroom as it is.
