What I Ate Wednesday: The Day I Refused To Cook

So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons  and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff,  some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.

As always my Weight Watchers Points into the fold.

When did I become the girl that craves shredded mini wheats? Guess that means I’m growing up. My breakfast was 6 points.

My Veggie Straw addiction is real, and it’s strong I’ve purchased two bags from Costco in 3 days, my mother is even eating (and liking them). My snack was 3 points . If previous WIAW I was giving veggie straws a point value of 4 points, not sure how that happened, but it’s been corrected.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a ham sandwich, and since I’m in no mood to cook, I added a little bit of mustard and a wedge of laughing cow cheese and I was good to go…. oh and some more Veggie Straws! My lunch was 8 points

My cousin made chicken noodle soup and brought be some, so I portioned it out into 1 cup servings and stuck them in the freezer, perfect for those cold days when you don’t want to cook. Added some fruit and yogurt to round out the meal. My dinner was 6 points

So not only did nothing I eat today require me to turn on an oven/stove (I’m not counting the microwave) but I used the same bowl throughout the day. WIN!

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I consumed 1,067 calories ! . I used a total of 23 Weight Watcher Points Plus, and had 10 left over. I’ve gone back to using all of my allotted points since the Marathon of Food (Holiday Season) is over.

The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 8 cups, but with it being colder outside and me try to ramp of the workouts I should be getting more water in.

What I Ate Wednesday: T’was The Night Before Christmas

Lately I’ve been finding that the best way to deal with my morning nausea is simply to eat light. So I had 3 cuties and a bottle of water. My breakfast was 0 points

Since my appetite was starting pick up I made an egg white omelet, with some leftover ham, spinach and cheese, with toast and peach jam. Lunch was 9 points

And because I’m a big fat pig I ate half of a frozen pizza for dinner.. My dinner was 20 points .!! (You you’re probably wondering where the picture of the pizza was, and I took one and when the time came I transferred the picture to my computer, but apparently in my haste it was a picture of a bottle of polish, and the pizza one got deleted….but pretty much all frozen pizza looks the same)

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I didn’t do squat, so didn’t earn additional points . And today I made it …with 1,166 calories . I used a total of 29 Weight Watcher Points Plus (with an activity point swapped in there)  I should note that due to the holidays, partly to avoid temptation I temporarily reduced the amount of points per day from 33 to 29.d9
