So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff, some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. I think this Wednesday my Weight Watchers leader would be proud… every meal was planned ahead.
Something that I realized this week…. ever since I started my weight loss journey I have taken on the motto, “If I bite it, I write it”…. but for the past several months I haven’t been writing down what I’m drink (non water) and I think that has really sort of sabotaged my weight loss… well on of the many things.
This morning when I was supposed to be eating I was busy cleaning out my closet so the next thing that I know it was time to leave, then it was time to leave for my meetings so I didn’t eat breakfast until around 11am. Nothing special, just some cereal…. this month I’m trying Special K Cinnamon and Pecan (it’s really good) with some coffee My breakfast was 6 points .
This was the last bag of cookies that I had… and please believe when I said that I enjoyed them! My snack was 4 points
Since I was out I got Subway, this time I left out the cheese, added a little vinegar and mustard and loaded up on the veggies. and the part that really hurt the worst is I didn’t get chips, instead I got the apples and had a Diet Coke… My lunch was 7 points . I will say that this was a pretty decent meal for the small amount of points that I used.
Guess my Chicken on Wednesday streak is finally over. Today I’m having catfish that I baked and I used the Lemon Rosemary seasoning that I got in my Love With Food box , with some brown rice and some beets (my plate needed some serious color, and I really love beets!) My dinner was 10 points
So I brought these frozen cherries a while ago, I initially was gonna recreate the beat berry smoothies that I got from Mariano’s but I wanted to to have them as snack instead… let’s be honest they weren’t that great.. Sorry the picture is so weird, I put them in a zip lock bag after I measured a cup of them. This snack was 2 points
My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I didn’t do squat… so I didn’t earn any extra calories., but I was still about to eat under my caloric goal (1035 calories). Weight Watchers: I used a total of 27 points with 7 left over….
The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 7 cups in (and only because my doctor told me that I need to start limiting the amount of water I drink…*eye roll*)
