What I Ate Wednesday: That Little Hole in the Wall Diner

I went out for a super early lake front walk with my cousin and the plan was to grab breakfast after so I just had something because I knew I had to so I grabbed a peach and went on my way. Breakfast was 0 points

Because things never really turn out the way that you plan, Breakfast became lunch… and we ate at this hole in the wall diner that is like the size of my bedroom and had lunch, I was craving eggs (which seems to be the normal these days)  Lunch was 27 points (not sure how accurate that is, but I would rather go over in my points assumption that to guess to little)

II knew I had pretty much eaten up all of my points/ and calories at lunch so I went for something quick and simple, left over white rice and roasted seaweed, with a side of diet coke. Dinner was 8 points

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I went over my goal (what else is new?)by consuming 1,766 calories. Thank goodness for some physical activity I was able to “bump” that down to 1,395 calories.

I have 34 points  a day that I can consume, I ate all of those at used 4 of my Weekly Points, so it really wasn’t that bad. I “earned” some activity points, but didn’t calculate them that day because I was still upset that my FitBit was broken.12

The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 8 cups, and lately that has been difficult for me to get in.

Speaking of water, if you are having a hard time getting your water in I would suggest this cute like app called Plant Nanny it’s available for IPhone and Andriod

What I Ate Wednesday: The Day I Didn’t Use Plates

So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons  and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff,  some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.

As always my Weight Watchers Points into the fold.

Whole wheat bagel with honey and nut cream cheese and a banana with freckles Breakfast was 10 points

Had some leftover turkey meatloaf from dinner  and made a sandwich had some WW Crisps along with it. Lunch was 13 points

Since I was going to the movie (and I usually smuggle in my own snacks, I brought a mini bag of popcorn and 1 cup of grapes. ) I purchased a diet coke there) Snacks were 3 points

And I can’t forget the Hershey Kisses I scarfed down…. all that’s left is the carnage Those were 7 points20150415_135229

I knew dinner was gonna be a crap shoot and had I thought about it a little bit better I should have planned breakfast and dinner a little bit better. But because McDonald was the only place that had free parking (Parking in Downtown Chicago is a mess..)) we had McDonalds.Dinner was 19 points

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I went over my goal (what else is new?)by consuming 2,075 calories. I have 33 points  a day that I can consume, this was not my finest day by any means I ate 52 points. Good thing I worked my tush off at the gym earlier that day and “earned” 24 activity points and burned over 1,000 calories

What I Ate Wednesday

I heart breakfast of Greek yogurt and oatmeal and a mandarin orange (not pictured). Breakfast was 6 points

So for lunch I wanted to try something that I had never had before (actually I tried two new things.. and they both can out a win for me Sushi (Spicy California Rolls) and Roasted Seaweed YUMMY!. Lunch was 6 points

Time for some more protein…. this time in the form of two hard boiled eggs (with a little bit more pepper than I wanted).  And after dinner I had some cookies, but I didn’t take a picture of them (Damn you Girl Scout Cookies!!) Snacks were 10 points

Nothing fancy, just ate some left over chili, threw some cheese on it and added some chips..….. Dinner was 12 points

What I Ate Wednesday

It was one of those days when I knew that I would be busy in the morning so … it was a liquid breakfast for me. with a banana. Breakfast was 5 points

After the movie I was starving, seriously carrots and a cup of popcorn can only last you so long, especially if you’ve only had a light breakfast…. Which is why the chicken in this picture if half eaten Boston Market Chicken, Stuffing and Veggies… oh yeah and the corn bread that I totally didn’t need but I ate it anyway. Lunch was 20 points (HOLY COW!!)

Since I knew that I was going to be going to the movies, I made sure to pack snacks, so that I wouldn’t spend my money buying concession snacks and blow all my calories in one wad. So I packed my usual movie snacks… Carrots and this time I brought my own popcorn. Snacks were 4 points

Nothing fancy, I had a baked potato loaded it up with some cheese and broccoli.….. Dinner was 10 points

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I exceeded my goal by consuming 1,677 calories And I ate 34 Points out of the 33 that are allotted to me and I took a point from my weekly 49), overall it was not a bad food day.

What I Ate Wednesday: A Busy Day

It was one of those days when I knew that I would be busy in the morning so … it was a liquid breakfast for me. Instead of the normal 1 cup serving I normally have, I lived a little an had 1 1/2 cups… ooh I’m such a daredevil. Breakfast was 6 points20150222_074759 (1)

So for lunch I raided my mothers refrigerator and found PIZZA!… Pizza is always good in my opinion… so I grabbed it and  went on my way… I actually ate in the car…. I took the picture after it came out of the microwave, but when I got a change to eat it, the pizza was super salty and I was only able to eat one slice…. (mom ate the other slice). I have never been so disappointed in Pizza in my life. Lunch was 10 points

Since I knew that I was going to be out most of the day, I packed all of my snacks ahead of time and took them with me, so I could have them ready when I got hungry. I packed carrots and guacamole, a banana, and mandarin oranges… figure I could get my 5 a Day in one shot! Snacks were 3 points

Nothing fancy, just had some left over Chinese food, I always get the Broccoli Chicken, one because it’s so darn tasty and two I think it’s probably one of the most healthiest thing on the menu, but after looking at it for a second time I realized this is pretty much my go to meal Chicken, Broccoli and Rice…. Along with that I had 1 yummy Crab Rangoon and a fried Crab Stick (I actually thought it was a Crab Pot Sticker….. Dinner was 11 points
