I Want To Know What Love Is

Writing Prompt: We each have many types of love relationships — parents, children, spouses, friends. And they’re not always with people; you may love an animal, or a place. Is there a single idea or definition that runs through all the varieties of “love”?

I think when we enter love relationships we give part of yourselves to the other person (physically or mentally) and I think that willingness to share yourself and who you (good and bad) are is a the single idea that runs through all the variations of love, I don’t think that people even realize how intimate that is until the relationship is over, maybe that’s why we cry when relationships are over.. because we realize that it’s a small part of us that we can never get back.

Learning To Let Go

Positive Outlooks

We are often let down by the most trusted persons and loved by the most unexpected ones. Some makes us cry for things that we haven’t done, while some other ignore all our faults just to see our smile. Some leave us when we need them the most, while some stick to us even when we ask them to leave. This world is a mixture of such peoples. We just need to know which hand to shake and which hand to hold! After all that’s life, learning to hold on and learning to let go. — Unknown Author
