What I Ate Wednesday

So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons  and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff,  some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.

As always my Weight Watchers Points into the fold.

It was one of those days when I knew that I would be busy in the morning so … it was a liquid breakfast for me. with a banana. Breakfast was 5 points

After the movie I was starving, seriously carrots and a cup of popcorn can only last you so long, especially if you’ve only had a light breakfast…. Which is why the chicken in this picture if half eaten Boston Market Chicken, Stuffing and Veggies… oh yeah and the corn bread that I totally didn’t need but I ate it anyway. Lunch was 20 points (HOLY COW!!)

Since I knew that I was going to be going to the movies, I made sure to pack snacks, so that I wouldn’t spend my money buying concession snacks and blow all my calories in one wad. So I packed my usual movie snacks… Carrots and this time I brought my own popcorn. Snacks were 4 points

Nothing fancy, I had a baked potato loaded it up with some cheese and broccoli.….. Dinner was 10 points

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I exceeded my goal by consuming 1,677 calories And I ate 34 Points out of the 33 that are allotted to me and I took a point from my weekly 49), overall it was not a bad food day.

The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 8 cups, but with it being colder outside and me try to ramp of the workouts I should be getting more water in.. but I already feel like I’m constantly going to the bathroom as it is.

And that my friends is What I Ate this Wednesday Sunday; be sure to follow me MyFitnessPal or of you are doing Weight Watchers  or FitBit friend me there as well I’m TRJENKINS77

Until Next Time…

Persist And Persevere

Positive Outlooks

No matter what happens, no matter how far you seem to be away from where you want to be, never stop believing that you will somehow make it. Have a unrelenting belief that things will work out, that the long road has a purpose, that the things that you desire may not happen today, but they will happen. Persist and persevere, your desired path remains possible. — Brad Gast

Circle of Five

Writing Prompt: A writer once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” If this is true, which five people would you like to spend your time with?

My youngest brother: We live together, so I guess it’s mandatory that we spend time together, we are so different but (and  believe be I really cringe to say this .. he’ll be there for me if I need him)

My mother: What more can I say the Original Ride or Die, she’s number 1.

My cat: She’s not a person, but she’s sassy as hell, so that’s got to count for something.

My cousin (Michelle): These past several months, we’ve both been through it emotionally and physically and we’ve always been close, but the talks that we’ve had have really bonded us and made us closer.

My younger brother : He’s the worrier, ALWAYS concerned. but with all siblings you don’t realize how much you love them until you’re older and you can appreciate them (Not the best picture, but it was FunTimes!)

Until Next Time….
