What I Ate Wednesday: T’was The Night Before Christmas

So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons  and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff,  some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.

As always my Weight Watchers Points into the fold.

Lately I’ve been finding that the best way to deal with my morning nausea is simply to eat light. So I had 3 cuties and a bottle of water. My breakfast was 0 points

Since my appetite was starting pick up I made an egg white omelet, with some leftover ham, spinach and cheese, with toast and peach jam. Lunch was 9 points

And because I’m a big fat pig I ate half of a frozen pizza for dinner.. My dinner was 20 points .!! (You you’re probably wondering where the picture of the pizza was, and I took one and when the time came I transferred the picture to my computer, but apparently in my haste it was a picture of a bottle of polish, and the pizza one got deleted….but pretty much all frozen pizza looks the same)

My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I didn’t do squat, so didn’t earn additional points . And today I made it …with 1,166 calories . I used a total of 29 Weight Watcher Points Plus (with an activity point swapped in there)  I should note that due to the holidays, partly to avoid temptation I temporarily reduced the amount of points per day from 33 to 29.d9

The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 8 cups. water

And that my friends is What I Ate this Wednesday; be sure to follow me MyFitnessPal or of you are doing Weight Watchers friend me there as well I’m TRJENKINS77

Until Next Time…

Secret Santa

Writing Prompt: You get to choose one gift — no price restrictions — for any person you want. The caveat? You have to give it anonymously. What gift would you give, and to whom?

I love Secret Santa, I think because at the end it all boils down to the look on the person’s face when the get the gift, then when they find out who gave it to them. As I mentioned in a previous post, gift giving is super stressful for me, so I like to ask ahead of time what you want, then I get it for you… yes I realize that is the total opposite of what I just said about the Secret Santa… listen people I am a multi-faceted and complex person who changed her mind when the wind blows…

My mom has always been a hard worker and she earns every penny she receives, so I would like to give her an little bonus this holiday season, a gift of cold hard cash of $50,000. I think she would appreciate that (hell who wouldn’t?), but I know my mother better than anyone else, she would see a check for that amount and think it was a joke, then she would think it was real and figure who gave it to her and why… she wouldn’t even cash it until she got some information about the person who gave it to her.

I love my mom, but sometimes giving her gifts is a pain, and giving things to her anonymously is damn near difficult, exposing myself and telling her that I was the one who gave her the money would open up a whole new can of beans, I can already hear her say, “Tyra how did you get all that money? Did you do something illegal?”

But at the end I think it would still be worth it…

Until Next Time….
