So clearly this is not an original thought WIAW was originated from Peas and Crayons and a lot of other bloggers have started doing it as well; and since I can’t be original and I really like the idea of doing this… I decided to give it whirl as well. This will pretty much be a mish-mash of stuff, some days I will try a new technique or perhaps I’ll be eating something for the first time as is the case today… and someday it might be leftover chili…who knows, and I guess that’s part of the fun. When I first started blogging it was to remain accountable with my exercise and food intake, so this is kind of takes me back… Very little of this is planned… but it’s 100% honest…I always want WIAW to be an accurate account of what I am eating. Not everyday I eat completely healthy, but more often than not I make healthy choices.
My last WIAW for the summer; I swear it came and went so fast…
Still craving bacon, but this morning I paired it with some biscuits that I had …. yum!! but super high in calories. I think this might be it for my bacon cravings, this time it didn’t hit me like it normally does, this bacon was super salty….. but holy poop balls those biscuits had a lot of calories
Wasn’t really hungry. probably had to do with the fact that breakfast didn’t happen until around 11 I just had something simple and quick for lunch, fruit and one of the snacks from my Love With Food Box. Nutty Rice Bars…. they weren’t bad, just a blueberry flavored rice cake with a few nuts thrown in their. (I know on my food diary it says that I had it for lunch, but there was like a 5 minute difference from when I stopped eating the fruit to when I started eating the snacks.
No chicken for me this week, but I did have a pork chop that I marinated along with rice and peas… simple and easy eat while I’m watching Big Brother.
My general caloric intake is 1200 calories per day, and today I was able to “earn” additional 464 calories from working out. . ! . Although I was “allowed” 2046 calories I did excellent job today as I didn’t even reach 1200 calories!!
The rule of thumb is that you are supposed to drink at least 8 and today I was able to get 10 cups of water (I think some of that had to do with that salty bacon).. YAY ME!!
