This past weekend, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, and several others fell victim to an iCloud hack that led to hundreds of their personal photos to be leaked onto the internet for all to see. The photos that caught everyone’s attention? The nude photos these women took in the privacy of their own homes. The photos spread across the internet like wildfire and soon millions got a good look at them.
I didn’t initially understand what was happening until someone had retweeted a photo-set onto my newsfeed. I was confused as to why someone had decided to share naked photos of a woman in the first place, but it wasn’t until I clicked on them did I realize the Oscar-winning actress’s beautiful, familiar face.
