Ulta Salon Formula Nail Lacquer’s XOXO
Man that’s a lit of 6’s in one week… good think I’m not totally superstitious… but I did grab my holy water just in case (what do my mean you don’t carry holy water in your purse?)
XOXO is a great light pink jelly polish (although it seems to photograph a red-orange) containing orange, purple, and pink flakes, this color is perfect for Valentine’s Day, or pretty much any day. I was a little iffy about this polish because the first layer was really, really, really thin… but my the second layer it was nice and opaque… but you know me; I added a third for good measure. One of the things that I really enjoy about this polish is that you get a little bit of sparkle and you know I love a little bit of sparkle…
Let’s be honest there wasn’t much I didn’t like about this polish, I got it for 2 bucks! Score! Great Color! Easy Application!!! Easy Removal!! And for any one who enjoys some sparkle in their polish knows first hand how big of a hassle it it to remove, since this is a jelly you don’t have to use the “glitter removal method”
So considering all these factors let’s get down to the final score, this polish get’s a 9 out of 10! I’m telling you, no matter how cute a nail polish is if it take you an hour just to remove it you’re really wasting my time…as my Korean sisters would say このポリッシュは非常にきれいです。 (excuse me I’ve been watching more Korean dramas than usual). I know this entry is little on the thin side, but like I said before I had no complaints about it… which is very odd… maybe next week I will have something to complain about.
I hate that I didn’t find this tutorial until it was too late… next time I will defiantly try Pond Hearts Nail Art…the tutorial can be found on Adventures in Acetone, really cute.
So I’ll be rockin’ short and sassy nails for a while… might as well let them be cute
Until Next Time,
