Nail Polish Lottery Club – Week 8

This is my very first week with the Nail Polish Lottery Club… wait you don’t know what I’m talking about? Let me give you the super quick rundown…

The Nail Polish Lottery Club creates a fun way in which to go through your unused/untried nail polish by selecting a random number each week on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. Based on members’ spreadsheet/database lists, whatever number corresponds on the list with the random number chosen, is the color to try, wear, and post or v-blog about! For more in depth information regarding this fantastic club click  here .

This week’s random number is 7

Let me just answer the question that’s on everyone’s mind before we get started. Yes it does smell like blueberry, but you have to hold the polish so close to your nose that you might get high from sniffing it. Okay now back to business.. I have to be honest for a polish I didn’t have any high expectations for it turned out awesome. The application was smooth, the polish was highly pigmented and had a really nice consistency, and with 2 thin coats my nails were covered and looking awesome. It has a regular dry time with a semi-matte finish.
Blues are always a really fun color for me to wear because it looks really good with my skin tone, and it’s a really versatile color that I can easily dress up with some nail art. After looking at some of my other dark blues in my collection this one most resembles Maybeline’s Color Club Sapphire Siren and NOPI’s Listen to Your Momager! I’m loving this color so much, I’m gonna have a hard time taking it off… or maybe for next weeks draw Ill just do my toenails!

The only nagging problem that I had with the nail polish was the super short nail brush applicator, considering the the bottle is only 0.20 fl. oz it makes application a little cumbersome. So if I had to rate this polish overall usage I would give it a solid 8, but because I have other polishes that are so similar and because this bottle is super tiny, I think that I will keep this for nail art only. Hopefully I’ll have the same amount of success when it comes to the other polishes in the set. Hopefully next week, I’ll be able to figure out the whole Youtube thing and post all my future draws. If you are interested in joining find us on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/NailPolishLotteryClub

If there is a moral to this nail polish story it’s simple, never judge a polish by it’s packaging…this was a total win.

Until next time

    • I was really shocked by how much I loved this color, now I wish that I had used it ages ago… it perfectly matched a brides maid dress I wore a few months back
